Kamal - This man surely has no parallel in the Cine field. Next to Nadigar Thilagam Shivaji Ganeshan I personally feel he is the only man who deserves to be the role model for other artists. It certainly wouldn be an exaggeration when one says non-tamilians are mising something in life.. 215 versatile performances, 65 Songs of various modulations, 12 kinds of dances performed with full perfection, 50 screenplays depicting the realities of life, thought provoking lyrics and many films amazingly directed, - Rather than his multi-talents the risks he takes and the effort that he puts for it,thats what is to be honored abt ths fascinating man.Wanna know more about this gr8 man watch "Ulaganayagan Kamal Aimbathu - Oru Thodarum Sarithiram" staged by Vijay TV to celebrate the 50-year film journey of actor Kamal Haasan, this programe says it all..
There are lots n lots of performances of this legend in various roles which, other actors if they try to imitate, certainly wouldn be able to come close enough to the level of justice he has done for that role .To start wth Kalathoor Kannama - In the song "Ammaavum Neeye, Appaavum Neeye", the lip sink that too for a 6 yr old kid necessitates an salutation, even his acting was so perfect that no one wld evn think of it as his first movie.. Then the Aboorva Sahodrargal,Indian, Anbe Sivam, Satheeleelavathi, Vasool Raja MBBS, Thenali, Dasavathaaram and the latest Unnai Pol Oruvan. Each and every role of his is so perfectly done that we tend to forget he is acting and its as if he has actually lived the character. His services outside the cine-world also deserves an appreciation..
Expecting more and more from him..
Thought these 2 pics would also help me in conveying my message
He surely merits compliments in tamil, so d final touch up for this post goes n Tamil
P.S : The "," and blank space in the first para is to indicate that the list doesnt end there. The other talents which as and when revealed will also be added.

Review of Two States
The New York Times called Chetan Bhagat as the biggest-selling English-language novelist in India’s history and his latest book "Two States" is also gonna add to this credit.
It’s a story of a Punjabi guy Krish, and a Tamil Brahmin girl Ananya who are in love and want to get married with their "parent's approval" and the hurdles being the incompatible differences between their parents, their cultures and the language. For a successful Indian marriage, the mandatory conditions are 1.Girl's family should like the guy, 2.Guy's family should like the girl and 3. Most importantly the guy's family should like the girl's family and 4.Guy and the girl should like each other(should - to be replaced with may/may not).Krish actually gets 4 rings and proposes the whole family and gets their acceptance..
The whole plot is very naturalistic, delineating the cultural differences in diverse India like the boisterous, loud Punjabi music versus quiet melodious Tamilian Carnatic music, the parathas versus the idlis etc. In the illustrations where he describes the way Ananya reacts to the mess food, when Krish for the first time comes to south India is all sooooo realistic. The pacing of the book is again perfect no unwanted fittings. Though the cover page itself tells us the story, it could have been designed better..
Readers,it sure would be a good addition to your library.. Have fun reading it..

Review of movie - Unnai Pol Oruvan..
Unnai pol Oruvan Kamal's latest movie is really mopre prodigious than the original moive "A Wednesday". I am not gonna reveal the story here, as I feel the whole thrill of it will be lost if someone knows the story already
Each character in the movie be it Kamal or Mohanlal or Anuja Iyer or the cop Ganesh Venkatram, each one of them have did their best.. Not even a single scene thats off the track.. Dialogues are so realistic which sure is to be applauded. In climax scene where he narrates the tragic incident brings tears in our eyes as well.. The scene where he drops the tomato and picks it up,then in the interactions b/w Lakshmi and Mohanlal and the scene where he says his name is missing from the voter's list, he has glued all real life prevelant issues which makes it all the more appealing which makes us forget that its a movie giving us a feel that we are just beside Kamal watching him.. This is the reason for the victroy of the movie.. Shruthi's background score is surely commendable which also adds to the positives of the movie..
As its been said in the movie " Endha kuppanalo suppanalo idha seiya mudiyumnu ninaikreengala" only, only Kamal can do something like this.. To put it in short , its excellent and Better than the Best..

Review - Who Moved My Cheese
Everyone one of us want to live a life which is peaceful and prosperous.. Similar to the physical and cognitive changes in us, the circumstances and situations surrounding us also change. Though we know "Change is inevitable",we do panic. This book is about how to manage and overcome that fear that we have about change. Its a small book which you can finish reading in just a couple of hours. Its written in the stand-point of a person who experiences change. The language is simple, clear, with no pretension.
The four characters are Sniff, Scurry, Hem and Haw who live in a maze which can be thought as analogous to real life. The cheese can be imagined to something that a person has(maybe money, job, relationship) and which he expects to remain as he /she wants it to be. One day abruptly the supply of cheese that the four of them had vanishes off and the whole story revolves around how each of them react to this sudden change that catches them unawares. There are a lot of parallels that we can draw from this book that matches with our personal experiences in life. Sometimes emotional pain is accompanied with change, in such a situation the pain should be forged to overcome the change rather than brooding over why it happened. Just read the book if u wanna know how change should be tackled, suppose in future if someone moves ur cheese u dont have to worry coz u know what should be done.. So don't miss this masterpiece
PS: One of my friend doesn't read any books and the only book he has read is this SPECIAL one.. Now I presume there is nothing more that I need to add to its credentials.. Enjoy reading..

I successfully completed one year :-)
One year back same day I joined my company and now one whole year is over so soon.. Thanking God for all the blessings he had showered upon me..I didnt even realise my 1 year is gonna get over until my manager told me about it.. Then I realised its time for blogging also..
So what have I learnt this one year.. Lots and lots I should say, both professionally and personally.. To list a few..
Hoping that all these and many more I learnt in life will help me to develop more good virtues that would be most useful to others..
So what have I learnt this one year.. Lots and lots I should say, both professionally and personally.. To list a few..
- Hard work and dedication are the 2 key factors that will help in achieving gr8 heights.
- There is nothing like impossible, just a little extra effort can make gr8 things possible.
- Nobody else but you are responsible for what you are now.
- Never hesitate to accept that u don know somethng else u might end up nvr learning wat it is.
- The secret of happiness is no more a secret than our willingness to choose life.
- Difficult times helped me to understand that so many things that we go worrying about are of no importance.
- Like any other kind of love, friendship can be lost within our lives due to neglect or anger or, sometimes, simply circumstances. However it is lost, we often lose a part of ourselves that can never quite be recovered.
Hoping that all these and many more I learnt in life will help me to develop more good virtues that would be most useful to others..

Review of the movie "Abiyum Naanum"
My first movie of the year 2009.. A very good start I should say.. A feel good entertainer.. Its about a father daughter relationship form the time she is born till she gets married..
Prakashraj as usual has done his best.. Aishwarya plays the role of his wife.. Her characterisation as a mature mother is surely credible.. Kumaravel who does the role of beggar turned caretaker (practically this seems a bit odd), is also portrayed very well.. His dialogues be it comical or sentimental truly adds to the flavour of the movie.. The Punjabi groom and his family too add to the best part of the movie..
The only thing I felt a bit bad about the movie is that once Prakashraj comes to know about her daughter's love, mostly the scenes are like he himself realises its worth by observing the groom.. It could have been better if the daughter and dad had a talk about it where the daughter takes some effort to convince her dad about her love..
There isn't even one scene that we might feel is not needed in this movie.. The scene when Trisha slips and falls while she comes to meet Prakashraj with her groom is the one I liked the most.. Even the smallest of the roles are deep and stays in our mind..
So do watch and enjoy..

Review - Digital Fortress
Its a fast going novel with small chapters , some if it even for just one or two pages but the pace makes you glued to it.. I finished it in just 3 days.. Though its all about network security and cryptography, Brown gives enough information, so that people who know nothing of the above two would also understand..
The 'invincible' code-breaking machine ran by the National Security Agency, encounters a mysterious code it cannot break, the agency calls in its head cryptographer, a brillant, beautiful mathematician. What she uncovers sends shock waves through the corridors of power. The NSA is being held hostage - not by guns or bombs, but by a code so complex that if released would cripple U.S. intelligence.. Through the central character, we come to see how cryptography has evolved in today’s time and also something about the NSA, its functions, capabilities and awesome power. With an ingenious plot whose exciting premise is further bolstered by a rapid pace, lots of suspense, interesting characterizations and a romantic entanglement thrown in for good measure, Digital Fortress is a cutting-edge techno-thriller that compels the readers to wonder how much the government is concealing from the public, and whether big brother is really watching everything everywhere. Dan Brown’s laudable detailed research makes this book so realistic it’s scary. Moreover, it will provoke readers to think and wonder if this loss of privacy and violation of human rights is justified by the number of horrific terrorist plots foiled and lives spared daily -- an interesting dilemma.
A good novel with lot of information and thought provoking as well..
